For Christie Carlin, owner of Wise Choice Tattoo Removal in Denver, that means personally caring for her clients who walks through her door while also managing everything that keeps her business running behind the scenes.

After working in the same space for many years, Christie was ready for something to change. She had considered moving into a new space that could better support the next chapter of her business, but when moving was no longer an option, the question became: How could we make the space she already had work better for her?

Christie wanted more flow, better systems, and an overall better vibe, but she was also thinking about growth. She wanted to make room for another ionic foot detox bath chair so she could expand that service, and she had dreams of eventually bringing in another laser to grow her offerings even further.

Instead of finding more space, we needed to uncover more possibility within the space she already had.

Creating a Space That Could Grow With Her

Our goal wasn’t simply to make Christie’s office look more organized. We wanted to create a space that supported the way she works now and gave her business room to grow.

We looked at the office as a whole: how Christie moved through the space, what she reached for throughout the day, where supplies were being stored, and which areas weren’t being used to their full potential.

From there, we edited, categorized, rearranged, and created intentional homes for the supplies she uses to serve her clients. We also rethought the layout itself, looking for ways to create more breathing room and a better overall flow without adding any square footage.

Instead of asking, “Where can we fit all of this?” we asked, “What does this space need to do for Christie and her business?”

That distinction can completely change a workspace.

Making Space for More

One of Christie’s goals going into the project was to find a way to add another ionic foot detox bath chair.

And we did.

By rearranging the room and making better use of the square footage she already had, we created space for a second chair. That means Christie can expand the service and clients can now enjoy a detox session alongside a friend or loved one.

No move. No renovation. No additional square footage. Just a more intentional use of the space she already had.

And with Christie dreaming about eventually adding another laser and continuing to expand her offerings, we weren’t just organizing for what her business looks like today. We were helping create a foundation that can better support where she wants it to go.
