Real-Life Organization for a Busy Denver Family

With two young kids, a full-time job, and a busy household, Jennie was stuck in that familiar cycle: pick up, tidy, repeat. Toys reappeared the moment they were put away. Closets overflowed with outgrown clothes. And even after a deep clean, it never really felt done.
This family has a beautiful home—but needed systems that would help them keep it that way in the midst of real life kid chaos.
The Challenge
This wasn’t about one room. It was about the way the whole home was flowing—or wasn’t.
From the basement to the kids’ bedrooms, bookshelves, and closets, the spaces that should’ve brought joy were adding stress to an already full season. As busy working parents of a pre-schooler and a toddler Jennie and Tommy wanted to feel a sense of clarity and ease—not the constant overwhelm of things out of place.

The Goals
Make spaces more kid-friendly and easier to reset
Set up systems that would support their daily routines
Create calm, functional zones for play, creativity, and rest.

The Plan
We tackled the house in layers, focusing on the areas that would make the biggest impact for this family:
Toys & Play Areas: We edited down what wasn’t being used and created simplified systems to make cleanup feel less overwhelming. Now toys have clear homes—making it easier for everyone to pitch in and maintain.
Closets & Clothing: With growing kids and shifting sizes, we focused on streamlining what stayed in rotation and making things more accessible for everyday routines.
Books & Crafts: We gathered and grouped books, puzzles, and creative supplies to make these moments of downtime and play more peaceful—and a little less messy.
Everyday Functionality: From storage closets to cabinets, we focused on improving how the home functions day-to-day—so mom could spend less time managing clutter and more time enjoying her time and space.

The Result
What once felt like constant cleanup now feels calm, intuitive, and manageable.
Jennie’s home finally supports her family’s rhythm instead of working against it. Her kids can play, and clean up is easier. And mom and dad get to focus on what matters most—not where the trucks or puzzle pieces went.
"Thanks to Angela and Home Again, my home has an overall flow and a system. Everything has a place, which makes finding things and staying organized so much easier. With kids and people always coming and going, it's created so much ease to know how to put everything back together at the start and end of each day. From our storage room to our new crafting closet to the kids bookshelves, closets and more, our home really does have more Om."
